PHOTO BY LEN VAUGHN-LAHMAN SJ MERCURY NEWS SEPT 20 2004 (w/ LABYRINTH REvans) Nestled in the woods away from the Quaker Conference Center in the mountains outside of Ben Lomond, a newly consturcted labyrinth, made of simple gravel and river rock, opens in a clearing. The brainstorm of Tom Davis (background, right) , a member of the group, his permamnent creation replaces on made of rop. The labyrinth allows prayerful meditation around a predestined course, with one way in and out. Members Traci and Walter Hjelt Sullivan (cq’d, no hyphen in last name) are on the labyrinth with Davis.
